On July 21th, the opening ceremony of 2021 Asia Pacific International Coating Industry Development Conference was held in Puyang, Henan Province. Industry authorities, experts, scholars and elites from the coating industry at home and abroad gathered in Longdu to discuss the development plan of the coating industry, study and judge the future trend of the coating market and jointly promote the high-quality development of the coating industry. Nearly 300 people, including leaders of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China Coating Industry Association, representatives of domestic and foreign coating associations and representatives of well-known enterprises in the coating industry in the Asia Pacific region, attended the conference. The conference was hosted by China Coating Industry Association, jointly sponsored by Puyang Municipal People's government, and undertaken by Puyang Industrial Park, Henan coating industry association, China Tu Bo international exhibition company and China coating magazine Co., Ltd. The conference lasts for three days with the theme of "innovation driven green development".

Li Shousheng, President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and sun Lianying, President of China Coating Industry Association, delivered congratulatory speeches to the conference. Li Shousheng said that, this year is the beginning of the 14th five-year plan, the beginning of China's new journey of socialist modernization, and the new starting point of China's second five-year plan from a large petrochemical country to a powerful Petrochemical country. At this key node, it is of great significance for us to gather in Puyang, the beautiful Longdu, to jointly discuss the development plan of the coating industry. At present, it has entered the post epidemic period. The new stage and new situation require new strategies and measures. The new chemical material industry should speed up the improvement of key products and enhance its independent support ability; To optimize and improve the performance of existing materials to meet the needs of the national economy; We should promote the market application of new materials and promote the coordinated development of upstream and downstream; We should strengthen the research on cutting-edge and high-end materials and seize the commanding height of technology.

Based on the purpose of openness, exchange, sharing and integration, the conference will discuss the challenges faced by Asia Pacific Coatings, explore the potential opportunities of Asia Pacific Coatings and discuss the future development of global coatings, which will surely write a new chapter for promoting the high-quality development of coatings industry in the Asia Pacific region and even the world.
